Testimonials

Deb is a joy to work with. She puts you at ease regardless of how little experience or training you have. Her teaching methods help you understand the mechanics of your voice, then how to use it.

Deb has helped me to become more easily understood in my work in a call centre. Customers were finding it hard to get what I was saying but Debbie helped me to slow down and clear my speech without me needing to fundamentally change my accent.

The course has been tremendously helpful to me. It provided me with the awareness of my voice and with the practice exercises and the feedback, I achieved a significant improvement in my voice. Deborah has deep knowledge of the material she is teaching and she provided me with accurate advice of improving my voice which I believe has improved significantly.  She is also very warm and polite.

Deborah has been my singing teacher since 2007. She has a calm person- centred approach, working on improving and extending the voice, exploring issues with breathing, placement and stance. My voice has consistently improved under her tuition. Her methods give me confidence as a performer. I was able to consult her recently during a long run of a play, (when I partially lost my voice), on ways to conserve and protect my voice while still using it where necessary in performance.
